How our pricing works
One rate. One number. Yours.
01
Published daily
We post the rate we pay every trading day. No "call for a quote", no rate that changes depending on who answers.
02
Locked on lodgement
The moment a complete claim reaches the desk, your rate is locked. Market moves after that are our problem, not yours.
03
Paid within 24 hours
Once your claim is signed off, we settle within 24 hours. No fees, so the rate is the whole number.

Why rates move
Why the rate card changes.
STC and VEEC prices are set by supply and demand. Supply is the certificates created by installers like you. Demand comes from liable entities, mainly electricity retailers, who must surrender certificates to meet their obligations.
- The STC clearing house. Certificates can be sold through the Clean Energy Regulator's clearing house at a fixed $40 each, which acts as a ceiling on the market price. Spot prices usually sit a little under it.
- Surrender periods. Liable entities surrender STCs quarterly, and demand tends to tighten ahead of those deadlines.
- Program volumes. Battery uptake under the Cheaper Home Batteries Program adds a large new source of certificates, and that volume shapes supply.
- VEECs. Victorian prices follow the Victorian Energy Upgrades target and the pace of eligible activity in the state.
That is why we publish daily and lock your rate on lodgement. See STC trading and battery STCs for the program detail.
